Frequently asked questions

A psychometric assessment uses standardised, scientifically validated tools to better understand a learner’s abilities, interests, and educational needs. The purpose is to provide guidance and support informed decision-making, not to label or diagnose.

All assessments are conducted by Reshoketswe Glenda Teefo, an HPCSA-registered Independent Psychometrist, in accordance with professional and ethical guidelines.

Psychometric assessments are beneficial for learners:
- Experiencing academic challenges

- Those making subject or career decisions,

- Learners applying for exam concessions, and

- Individuals seeking greater clarity about their educational or career pathways.

Yes. Where appropriate, assessments can be conducted online, depending on the nature of the assessment and the learner’s circumstances.

Results may only be shared with third parties with written consent from the client or parent/guardian, in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.

You can book an assessment by contacting the practice via phone, WhatsApp, email, or the contact form on the website. All consultations are by appointment only.

Psychometric assessments can be conducted in two main modes: online and face-to-face.

Online assessments are completed remotely using a secure digital platform, allowing candidates to take the assessment at a convenient time and location, provided they have a stable internet connection and a suitable device.

Face-to-face assessments are administered in person, typically at a designated assessment center or office, and may be supervised by R.G Teefo (psychometrist) to provide guidance and ensure standardized conditions.

Both modes are designed to maintain the validity, reliability, and fairness of the assessment, and the choice of mode may depend on the assessment purpose, candidate needs, or organisational requirements.
